My Story
Let Me See The Label was created with one mission in mind: to help consumers quickly and confidently find healthier alternatives in clean beauty, skincare, and everyday lifestyle products. I believe that everyone deserves access to safe, transparent options—at every price point. Wellness shouldn’t be reserved for luxury brands or celebrity-endorsed products, and I’m committed to examining items across the full spectrum of affordability.
My name is Samantha, and my background spans Science, Psychology, Health Education, and Administration. For more than a decade, I’ve worked directly with clients and patients in settings ranging from Rehabilitation to the Emergency Department. Those experiences taught me how deeply our daily choices impact our well‑being.
After years of academic focus and long hours in medical environments, I realized I had stopped paying attention to the everyday essentials I was using myself. Like many people, I got comfortable—and that comfort led to some missteps as a consumer. Everything changed when I experienced an allergic reaction that forced me to scrutinize every product I brought into my home. I suddenly needed clear, trustworthy information, and I struggled to find it.
Let Me See The Label is the resource I wish I had during that vulnerable time. It’s built on research, transparency, and a genuine desire to help others feel informed rather than overwhelmed. My hope is that you find peace of mind here—whether you’re rebuilding your routine from scratch or simply looking for safer swaps for the products you use every day.
More about me…
I’ve been fortunate to travel the world—both internationally and across North America—while juggling two collegiate sports and several military moves. If you can’t find me, I’m probably at a sporting event, browsing through a store, or tucked into a corner at Starbucks with an almond‑milk iced shaken espresso and a good book.
My friends would describe me as loyal, honest, and funny. Life has taken me in many directions, and between school, sports, and military relocations, it hasn’t always been easy for people to keep up. My family could tell you even more, but I’ll spare you the stories—just know there are plenty of photos of me making ridiculous faces or hanging upside down from a tree on purpose.
With this website, my hope is simple: that you find exactly what you need. I’ve worked hard to make the switch from toxic to non‑toxic products as easy and approachable as possible.
If you have product suggestions or need help choosing between options, I’d love to hear from you.
