Food allergies can cause more stress and pressure on choosing the right restaurant which can accommodate everyone. I have picked a handful of restaurants that will please any crowd!
These restaurants not only give you options, but they do not skip on the flavor! I would give each of these restaurants 3 Michelin Stars if I could! Let us socialize no matter your lifestyle or your food allergies/restrictions. I know I have found a restaurant menu you will all love!

Carrots and Dates-Windsor, ON- Try some of these popular menu items: Longevity Beauty Salad, Coconut Bacon, Pad Thai Sauce, All Cashew based desserts, and try a rose petal latte! (Pro Tip: Add extra Pad Thai Sauce or Coconut Bacon to your salads or bowls!)
The Plaid Moose-Slayton, MN- Try their Chicken Salad with Poppyseed dressing made in house.
Crisp and Greens-Minneapolis, MN-Build your own salad or bowl that is allergy friendly and if you check out their website before heading their you can even attend a yoga class in the restaurant!
Nooch-Windsor, ON-If you have food allergies but your also looking for a casual bar environment this is your place.
Freshii-Toronto, ON- Try their kale caesar wrap and a charcoal lemonade (Pro Tip: I added chicken and omitted the quinoa in my wrap).
Old Market Eatery- Brookings, SD- I order their blackened tuna salad and a hummus platter to share, you will be very satisfied!
Firdous Lebanese Grill- Leamington, ON- Whether you need a quality meal for lunch or dinner, head to Fridous Lebanese Grill! My husband and I have now tried their: Cauliflower wrap, sautéed vegetables, hummus, falafel and grapes leaves and everything was wonderful. *Pro tip: Ask for extra pickled turnips and pickles with your meal! If you love this trendy menu as much as I do, they cater too!
Pho Saigon-When you want food that tastes like you’re on vacation head to Pho Siagon! My husband and I order off the vegetarian section of the menu and we make small adjustments to make those dishes vegan. This restaurant can accommodate vegan friendly requests and the food is amazing.

Sandbar- Santa Barbara, CA- Grab some fish tacos and order a blended mojito drink
The Surf Hut- Destin, FL- Fresh Grouper with vegetables and grab a drink to go to walk along the beach
Mamma Maria’s Ristorante- Chatham, ON- Grilled Salmon prepared with cherry tomatoes in a lemon dill sauce on a bed of potatoes served with sautéed vegetables.
Chilled Cork- Chatham, ON-Smoked salmon salad in a light oil based dressing served with fresh tomato’s and lemon wedges styled with grilled toast.
Ronin Sushi- Royal Oak, MI- I don’t think just saying one item here will do this culinary experience enough justice. They truly serve only the best masterpeice’s in royal oak when it comes to all things seafood and alcohol pairings.
Lilys Seafood Grill & Brewery- Royal Oak, MI- Take your parents here for a very special night out in Royal Oaks, Michigan-Art Beats & Eats Event will captures everyones attention but pay close attention to this location!

A Place To Walk To- Hyattsville, MD- From food truck to brick and mortar you don’t want to miss this down to earth soul food restaurant. I can proudly say I know the owner as we got in trouble in class for talking!
Dinosaur BBQ- Syracuse, NY- This BBQ restaurant is so good that president Obama visited this restaurant a day after I did!
Gordon Ramsay Burger- Las Vegas, NV- To be clear I won money at the casino and then went out to eat here! The burger restaurant is kind of pricey but very much worth your time and money! When you visit try to say the cheese options out loud, then message me because they made me laugh! Here’s the direct link to Burger.
Wahlburgers- Detroit, MI- If you love Mark Wahlberg as much we do, you have to go! It’s a real family experience and the food was so good we bought one of everything on the menu! The burgers are worth the hype!
Maggie’s on the River- Watertown, NY- I loved this menu so much that my husband threw me a surprise birthday party here in New York! They have a great selection on the menu from chicken wings to alcohol drinks! The downstairs area even has a casual area that’s inviting for all your entertainment needs, with pool tables and games up against the wall. So no matter your age their is something for everyone here.

Chatham's Breakfast House- Chatham, ON- This is a truly special place. If it’s not already 3 Michelin stars is should be! Everything is perfect and superb!
Spago Trattoria & Pizzeria- Windsor, ON- Hands down the best pesto Gnoochi I have ever had! This dish would make you move to Canada!
Kruse & Muer- Rochester Hills, MI- Let me just say the menu is next level but their housemade poppyseed bread is especially amazing! You will seriously hate me for telling you about this!
Rochester Mills Beer Company-Rochester, MI- Best outdoor bar and menu experience. Fine dining and yet you can choose to sit and eat outdoors and enjoy the Rochester views.
Craft-Brookings, SD- If you are celebrating a special occasion or you just want a casual night out this is the best place to go in South Dakota!
Johnny Carino’s-Sioux Falls, SD- Johnny Carino’s really knows what Italian food is supposed to taste like! Order Spicy Shrimp & Chicken and swap out the penne pasta for your favorite type of pasta and ask for a vanilla italian soda!

Iron Horse- Royal Oak, MI- I ordered, but shared, four different taco options with a gluten free bloody mary /ceasar drink.
Imperial-Ferndale, MI- My Michigan friends are obsessed! Try their carne asada and their elote especial (vegan options are available).
Acapulco Delight- Windsor, ON- A fun family environment that also serves the best allergy friendly menu per request and allergy friendly alcohol too!
Taco Cabana- San Antonio, TX- Taco Cabana is a Texas stable! Breakfast,lunch, or dinner this place is always packed! It’s fresh and authentic, nothing can compete with this menu in Texas!

Café/ Coffee Shops
Another Broken Egg Café-Destin, FL- Breakfast in the morning has never been so relaxing! In the heart of the Hilton Resort and Golf Course you will find this restaurant tucked away near a peaceful yet upscale shopping environment. Call ahead and make reservations because this place is booked all day. If you forget to call ahead there is a server to pass out beverages as you wait outside.
Gandy Dancer- Ann Arbor, MI- This restaurant provides an exclusive dining experience nicely tucked away behind the University of Michigan. If you sit in the dining area you will be graced with a beautiful view of the park. Breakfast was served buffet style, the choices were endless, and I was there with a few girlfriends celebrating our friends engagement!
10 Speed Coffee- Calabasas, CA- While in California do what the Cali’s do! We visited old town Calabasas and found this breakfast location right off the beaten path. Custom designed coffee, donuts in many varieties and a breakfast sandwich that made me feel human again!
Pete’s Place- Taylor, MI- The entire menu here deserves an award but my favorite items were on the breakfast menu! If your looking for a oversized coffee mug full of amazing aromas and flavor come here for breakfast! The coffee alone will make your day!
Dark Horse Espresso Bar-Toronto, ON- After a big night out on the town you will need a dark horse coffee to revitalize your soul the next day! This upscale yet casual cafe really knows how to deliver on taste and creativity.
William Street Café- Chatham, ON- If you are walking thru the retro suites in Chatham, or your heading to the park for an event, stop by this café. From baked goods with your coffee, to lunch wraps with a lighter drink, this café does it all. They even have allergy friendly milk options which is also a nice touch too.
