Glass Hand Soap Dispenser - I made my first sustainable swap in 2018, when I purchased Grove Collaboratives glass hand soap dispensers. The glass soap dispensers are simple and they will look great in any style of home. I purchased 3 soap dispensers in total, one next to dish soap dispenser in the kitchen and the other two for the bathrooms. I now only purchased hand soap in bulk to cut down on overall waste. I also found a small business where I live that will refill mason jars for me to take home so no plastic here! *pre-covid!
Glass Spray Bottles I have absolutely love these spray bottles! However when you squeeze the handle to hard the little metal ball pops out of place, so I am randomly fixing the spray nozzle. After using these glass spray bottles for around 4 years, I am just fine adjusting the nozzle because it’s one less thing to replace. I no longer purchased expensive multi-purpose spray, I make my own with vinegar and essential oils! *pre-covid!
Glass Dish Soap Dispenser - This super chic glass dish soap dispenser is everything I wanted and more! Grove is the only retailer that sells glass soap dispensers with a removeable silicone sleeves. The silicone sleeve gives me total peace of mind with glass soap dispensers. I have truly dropped this and it didn’t break so its husband and kid proof too! If your want silicone around the entire bottle they have that too!
100% Organic Cotton Cloth - Another sustainable and eco friendly swap are these organic cotton clothes. Paper towels are expensive so you might as well invest in something like these towels that you can reuse after washing.
Cotton Dish Cloth- These are an eco friendly alternative for washing dishes. These dish clothes are affordable and last longer then traditional dish sponges.
Kitchen Towel- Hands down my favorite kitchen towel! I purchased my grove kitchen towel in the color Gray Fog and it still look incredible 4 years later. The quality is unlike any other towel I have purchased and it comes in other colors like Navy (pictured above) and Heirloom Red.
Flour Sack Towel- I received this towel as a gift with purchase but I am so happy with it. I love how thin this towel is because it’s perfect for proofing dough. The towels design which is hard to see from this picture is spices.
Tough Brush- I did not purchase this item from grove, it was accidently sent to me with my purchase. However when I called Grove they said to keep it, so now we use it to clean our shoes or boots outside. It looks and works great after 4 years!
All-purpose castile soap- This all purpose castile soap in lavender was the perfect soap for hand washing. It can be used in a multitude of ways that I think I even used this soap to wash our dishes in a pinch or as body wash once or twice.
Konjac Sponge- This Konjac sponge saved my skin! A few years ago, I woke up with an allergic reaction and I could not use anything on my skin because it would just irritate it. The only thing I did use was this konjac sponge for my daily skincare routine until my skin was healed. At the time I had purchase the natural one but the konjac sponge pictured above is the charcoal one which I heard works even better! Enjoy!
Cotton Twill Apron - Ok calling all kitchen ladies and gents! This apron in the color Fog Gray, it was my first and only purchase because now its my forever apron! No waste here, I will be keeping this apron and passing it down in my family! It’s simple but I feel so sassy in the kitchen with this on! I don’t know about you but baking with an apron on makes me feel so confident! I love it and you will too!
